MAISON&OBJET 2019

Sometimes I feel like I should pinch myself to make sure I’m not really dreaming – especially when I find myself at Maison et Objet, in Paris, on a cold January day. Surrounded by beauty, creativity, luxury and craftsmanship – can’t think of a better way to spend a day and get some serious cardio in with all the walking and gasping whenever I saw something I absolutely loved.

Why am I here? Well, my journey has been a long one, transforming and evolving at every step. At the moment I run the marketing department for the most amazing company I’ve ever worked at, Dymak. We specialize in pots for flowers and plants but are going beyond that, into home & decorations. I also design a lot of products for customers around the world and I want to keep up with the latest trends, want to see which direction the most talented designers in the world are going in and I want to be inspired.

Without further ado, here are a couple of the highlights from my visit – keeping the full report for my colleagues and customers, because I’m selfish that way.

Frida Kahlo collection by TEMERITY JONES
Beautiful carved wood sculptures covered in colorful beads by Kronbali
Valentine’s lamp by Seletti
Just a random guy wearing a fur coat on one shoulder for no f***ing reason. Cool.
